Many people are over the legal blood alcohol limit for driving even the day after a big night out, and if you are selling or serving alcohol you have a responsibility.
Responsible service of alcohol in NSW (SITHFAB201 – Provide responsible service of alcohol) extends beyond your local venue in this campaign for awareness of driving when you are still over the limit. The campaign centres around a video titled “Local Ideas, Real Solutions,” a collaborative with Liquor & Gaming NSW and local Liquor Accords to educate the community.
Do you currently hold a NSW RSA competency card? Watch the 2 minute “Hungover? You’re Over” video to educate yourself on how you can better serve your community to inform patrons of “the risks of alcohol-related harm.” The Hungover? You’re Over campaign highlights responsible consumption of alcohol and “promotes the message that driving the morning after a night out can carry the risk that you could be over the legal blood alcohol limit.”
